There is nothing quite like the thrill of mushing your own team of huskies along a snow covered forest trail in Swedish Lapland. You can choose to mush your own team under the guidance of a native expert musher or simply sit back and let someone else do the work! Nothing else gets you closer to Lapland's spectacular wilderness. From 90 minute excursions to multi-day mushing adventures, we offer a range of experiences. And if the conditions are right, you may even see the amazing northern lights! Experience all of this and more on one of our magical Icehotel holidays.

February

Western Iceland's beautifully-rugged Snaefellsnes Peninsula is blessed with two of the natural world's most impressive phenomena: groups of orca and the celestial aurora. Our holidays are all based right at the heart of the action in Grundarfjordur where, from mid December to early April, pods of orca can be seen close to shore as they search for herring, and with luck, you get the added bonus of the northern lights at night.

Our 4-night Northern Lights & Killer Whales escorted tour is led by our fantastic team of guides and experts. We also offer other variations of the holiday, including a self-drive option.

March

Visit the Icehotel, with its glistening ice sculptures, fine dining and host of winter activities, in March and enjoy longer daylight hours and milder temperatures. Furthermore, nearby Abisko National Park is one of the world's best places for northern lights - and with the spring equinox typically bringing increased solar activity, aurora viewing is optimal!

To celebrate the Icehotel's 25th anniversary this year we're offering the opportunity for every 25th passenger on our direct flight to Kiruna to travel free. To be in with a chance of winning back the cost of your holiday book by 25th September 2014.
